A Digital Festival for Museums
The Museums Association (MA) has announced the programme for
Museum Tech 2019, a one-day conference looking at the use of
technology in museums, galleries and the heritage sector.
The conference, which takes place on 27 June at the Museum of London,
will feature case studies, product launches and practical demonstrations
that show how technology can be used in many different areas of
museum practice.
There will be a focus on virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR)
and their use in museums, as well as discussions on online collections
and commercial opportunities presented by technology.
